Our boys are now 2 months old! I can't believe that it is going so fast.

So I've recently realized (with the help of a few people) that it's been a month since I last posted anything on our blog. I hope having 2 babies at home is a good enough excuse. With little sleep, feedings ever 2.5 hours, doctors appointments, Naomi to play with, a house to keep, laundry, a husband to feed, oh and don't forget the 10 min just to take a shower, I really don't have a whole ton of extra time on my hands. But who does, really, especially when you have a new baby. I guess I really forgot what it was like to have a baby, let alone two, and what it is like to be couped up at home. The best part of the day is when we get the courage to venture out, it takes 1 hour to feed the boys, and get them dressed, then Naomi and I get ourselves ready. Once the boys are packed up and ready to go, I've run up and down the stairs 3 times b/c I forgot something, Naomi finally finds her shoes, and we're out the door, one of the boys has a blow out. So we unload everyone and start all over. If you've never had a kid, it's hard to believe that it can take 3 hours just to get to the store. We won't talk about what its like once you are there. So, Naomi and I have come up with really fun things to do while we are at home.

About 3 weeks ago, a good friend of mine took some AWESOME pictures of Rhett and Bennett. Here are a few of my favorites. If you are looking for a really good photographer who doesn't cost an arm and a leg, give Juliette Holmes a call, she's great!!!

Naomi really enjoys having the boys home. Her new thing is picking them up and carrying them to a different place. Whether they are sleeping or not. She's always asking to carry one of them. Sitting and hold just isn't good enough for her anymore. She is a really big help, and it would be near impossible for me not to have her around.
Naomi is such a helper that she'll even wake up in the middle of the night and want to help with the feedings. This is not my idea, but what can I do. So the other day she told me that she just wanted to go read her books for a little while. After about 10 minutes, I went up to check on her and this is what I found. I guess even the night feedings are hard on her too.
This is our very special doctor who saved our little family. If anyone needs a referral, Dr. Wilkes is the guy. It was sad to say goodbye to him, but that just means that I'm healthy and can lead a normal life again. Whatever normal means.

oops, just read again and I meant Juliette. Oh and the pic of the boys in your jean quilt is awesome..I love it. Did you make that?
The picture of Naomi all tuckered out on her chair is precious. Please call me if you ever need reinforcements!
YAY! So fun to see pictures. Y'all look a little tired! :) I tried calling this morning but didn't catch you- I'll try again either Sunday or beginning of next week- I've been wondering how you're holding up with sweet Naomi and the twins! Love you guys and can't wait to see you in a little over a month!
I am glad that you got the hint and put some pictures up:) Love Love the photos of the twins. I am so glad you have a little helper. Chase was only 21 months when the twins were born so I didn't get much help other than the hired help I got. I am glad that you are doing well
I think having twins gives you an excuse to check out of a lot of things for as long and you want! But, on the selfish side, I'm glad to see the pictures and read the update. The boys look great! And how sweet is Naomi? Seth likes to help feed Lydia too, but that usually only lasts for a couple of minutes. And he's never gotten up in the middle of the night...
Thanks for the update! I'm glad your family is doing well. love you! k
Hey of course I will send you those pictures I just don't have your email address. I am so glad that you guys came with us, we have missed you! It was fun to catch up with you and Olivia just LOVES Naomi.
We need to get our baby boys together soon. That is so funny Naomi gets up to help you in the middle of the night!
