6 months already!

The brothers turned 6 months old this past week. It's so crazy how fast they are growing up. These pictures are their favorite activity. I can swing them forever and they never get tired of it. It's also a benefit to have such wonderful weather. It's finally cooled off and we can spend so much more time outside. YEAH! This is the Vegas I love.

THE BIG 3-1

Just wanted to take a minute to wish my hubby a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! He's a whopping 31 years old. Where does the time go? sign. hahaha. So, for a special treat, I thought that I'd let everyone know my favorite 31 flavors of Mike (in no particular order):

1. He is the nicest person I know, that's why I married him.
2. He's tall, dark, and handsome. Funny thing happened, just this past week, 3 different women told me that I had a very handsome husband! Hello ladies, I knnnoooowww.
3.
He works very hard at the things that are important to him; his family, the gospel, school, etc.
4. His a GREAT dad. Everyday he takes time out to spend with each kid, individual one-on-one time with just dad. The kids love it when daddy comes home.
5. He has an amazing testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
6. He speaks Tagalog but he doesn't want anyone to know. Ooops!
7. He is so patient with me especially after a crazy day with no naps, preschool, and a doctors appointment. That may not seem to crazy for some, but for me it's almost unbearable.
8. He laughs at my dumb jokes. Even if he's heard them a million times. Then he always says "I love you, mama."
9. He has an extremely LARGE shoe collection.
10. He LOVES to sing in the shower.
11. He loves the coast. Almost as much as I do. Bring on the fog, rain, and wind. WE LOVE IT!!!!
12. He gets along with everyone. I've never met a person that didn't like Mike. I wonder, if they'd tell me?
13. He hates cats. I guess hate is a really strong word, but it's true, no cats allowed!
14. He really likes to dress our kids, or at least pick out the clothes that we buy. He'd rather spend money on dressing them, then himself.
15. He always knows how to calm me down. It's wonderful!
16. He's really good at trying new things.
17. He love to hike. YEAH for the new REI in Summerlin.
18. He likes to play volleyball, A LOT! I taught him everything! hahaha
19. He enjoys planning our next vacation. Or at least he likes to come up with the next great place.
20. He loves our Country. He has always wanted to serve for our Country, thank goodness for dental school b/c it's given him this opportunity to serve.
21. He has a great relationship with his parents and siblings.
22. He loves to go to the Temple. We don't get there as often as we should, but once he is there, he soaks it all in.
23. He is a great example to me and our kids.
24. He loves to go to the movie theatre and buy a bucket of popcorn with layers of butter and call it dinner and a movie.
25. He is so good at asking for directions. He is the first to admit that he rarely knows where he is going.
26. He'll play games with me like scrabble or boggle even though he knows he'll loose.
27. He puts up with my creations for dinner and always makes me feel like a gourmet chef.
28. He always does the dishes.
29. He is such a great help with the kids, and is always willing to feed, bathe, change, hold, or whatever needs to be done.
30. He is very athletic and is always trying to teach Naomi how to golf, play tennis or volleyball. They have so much fun on their daddy daughter dates.
31. He is my best friend!!!!!

I LOVE YOU, BABE!!!

Random Pics

My sister-in-law, Atsuko, sent the brothers these funny little hats when they were first born. When we first put them on, the hats were WAY TOO BIG. So I waited, and then lost track of them, then finally pulled them out. Now they are WAY TOO SMALL! Atsuko said that American baby clothes are so much cuter than ones that you find in Japan, but I disagree. Look how cute my boys are, even if their heads are squished.

This is where me and my kids spend most of our time. I guess with 2 babies you are at the doctors office twice as often. At least at this doctors office there are SO MANY TOYS!! Why is it that kids really like other people's toys, even if we have the exact same ones at home. Oh well, what ever keeps them entertained. Also, it's a great thing that my kids don't really mind sleeping in the car for their naps, or eating their lunches at some random park. Its really quite fun driving around the city and finding different routes to take to either the Urologist, the Pediatrician, or the Occupational Therapist. Naomi sure is getting to know Las Vegas really well too.
