This is little Rhett Bradford at 1 week old. He was 5lbs 6oz and 18 inches long. After a week he finally decided to open his eyes for us. He is doing really well and getting stronger every day.
This is Bennett Sakota weighing in at 6lbs and 18 inches long. As you can see, most of the bruising has gone down and he his healing very quickly. He is a chubby little guy.
The NICU usually won't let anyone under the age of 16 in, so poor Naomi was so sad when she found out she couldn't see her baby brothers. However, once a month the NICU holds a little ice cream social for the siblings of the babies and they let them in to see the little ones. It just so happened that it fell on the right Sunday and Naomi was let in to be with her brothers. We thought that she would be scared by all that she saw and not quite understand what she saw. To our surprise, she did great. She asked a lot of questions and told Rhett and Bennett how much she loved them. Then she got a little sad when it was time to leave them.
We want to make sure that everyone knows how much we appreciate all the prayers and the phone calls, the gifts and the visits, and all the thoughts and concern on our behalf. We sure are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to buoy us up during this somewhat stressful time. Thank you and we love you!!!!!

chiye i know how you feel ryan was in the NICU for a while and it can be tough just keep holding on so do you know when they get to come home?

Yeah...I am so glad that they are doing better...and that you are doing better!! We are back in toen for a few days and would love to come and see you again since the hospital is so close!! I'll call you...hope all is well!! They are so cute...and I LOVE THEIR NAMES!! Darling!
